I met you when I was 12, by accident you might say
Remember It’s a Love Thang, how could I forget such a day
When I first spoke to you, it wasn’t really ‘bout me
You know I wasn’t the type, to be expressing how I feel
But the day pain hit pleasure and love was discovered
Was a day like no other for you were like a brother
You guided me through every great ordeal
Even when I thought we should close the seal
When I needed to cry, I ran to you
I knew you’d understand and you still do
Things I didn’t tell God and that’s dumb cause he see’s
I would tell you, cause you made me feel healed
When I would reach my last nerve, & tried to run away from home
You were there to calm me down, when no friends answered the phone
When my man had left me & and I thought I would die
You showed me all I needed was to let out a cry
When “you know” left me, feeling dumb, foolished, and used
You took me to a place that helped me find my cool
If it wasn’t for you, I think I would of died
If not by drugs, STD’s, maybe suicide
But now what’s not to love, I know God, I got it all
Between the two of us, we share a special bond
You’re one of biggest love of my life and right now I seriously
